Raccuia will serve as the bench coach for the AA New York Mets organization, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in his second year in the organization…Was slated for the same role in 2020.

Spent the last 12 seasons as head coach at Radford University in Virginia.

Guided Radford to two Big South Tournament Championships (2015, 2017) and seven straight winning seasons from 2009-2015.

In 2015, Raccuia led Radford to first Big South regular season and tournament championships, and advanced to the NCAA regional round for the first time in program history…Also reached the NCAA regional round in 2017.

Served as an Assistant Head Coach at The George Washington University (1997-2000), Associate Head Coach at George Mason University (2001-03), Head Coach at Marist University (2004-05) and Assistant Coach at the University of Alabama (2006-07)…Led the 2005 Marist team to the NCAA tournament.

Graduated from Radford University in 1995 where he played baseball for the Highlanders.

Joe, 48, lives in Radford, VA and has three kids, AJ, Joey and Emma.
