Brandi is a Chesterfield native who grew up with a love for softball, starting at the age of 7, being coached by her dad. She attended L.C. Bird high school where she was starting shortstop at the varsity level all four years. She also played travel fast pitch softball, traveling up and down the east coast, and won a National Championship one year. Brandi played many different positions in the game, including catching, outfield, and of course, shortstop. After graduating in 2007, she returned to Bird to be an assistant coach on the varsity team for three years. She then went on to coach at the 10u, 12u, and 14u levels in travel fast pitch.
Brandi bring a wide variety of skills and knowledge to the game and pushes her athletes to give 100% all the time. She says that she loves coaching because she gets the opportunity to help make the girls better athletes on the field, and exceptional young women off the field. “I hope to teach them not only about the game, but also to love and respect it.” When she isn’t coaching, Brandi enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter at their Powhatan home, cooking out with her parents, shopping, and going to watch any of “her girls” play.
